Shepherd 2 de VIVOTEK esta integrado con funciones de gestión de dispositivos, puede fácilmente configurar varias cámaras a la vez. El software automáticamente trae una lista de todos los dispositivos que están conectados en la red y el usuario puede aplicar los ajustes preconfigurados manualmente para el grupo de las cámaras.
Shepherd 2 soporta diversas funciones de gran alcance, incluyendo la gestión de grupo de ajuste, la asignación de direcciones IP,actualización del paquete de la cámara, el reinicio remoto / restauración, importación / exportación ajustes, firmware y VADP, exportan el informe de estado del servidor para realizar un seguimiento del problema. Se beneficia enormemente integradores de sistemas e instaladores que a menudo tienen proyectos en que tienen que configurar múltiples cámaras con la misma configuración a la vez.
