FGSW-2840 es un Switch de 24 puertos 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet con 4 puertos Gigabit y 2 combo 100 / 1000X interfaces SFP. Viene con una arquitectura de switch de alto rendimiento, capaz de proporcionar sin bloqueo 12.8Gbps matriz de conmutación y rendimiento a velocidad de cable en 9.5Mpps. Sus cuatro incorporados GbE puertos uplink también ofrecen una increible extensibilidad, flexibilidad y conectividad con el switch principal o servidores. Las potentes funciones de QoS y seguridad de la red que ofrece el FGSW-2840 permiten el cambio a realizar un control efectivo del tráfico de datos de ISP y VoIP empresarial, streaming de vídeo y aplicaciones de multidifusión. Es ideal para la capa de acceso remoto de redes de campus o empresariales y la capa de agregación de redes metropolitanas IP.
