Para la comunicación de red de área pequeña, como en la escuela y la comunidad, losSwitches apilables de la serie SGSW-24240 de PLANET Administrados permiten un despliegue de red asequible y escalable. Múltiples Interruptores de la serie SGSW-24240 se pueden conectar entre sí para constituir una topología en cadena o pila de anillo utilizando los 5 Gbps apilamiento puertos como enlaces de interconexión. Hasta 16 unidades, 384 puertos Gigabit Ethernet de alta densidad pueden ser manejados por un grupo de apilamiento con una única dirección IP. Por otra parte, hasta 384 puertos mini-GBIC / SFP están disponibles para la conectividad remota de enlace ascendente en un grupo de apilamiento y proporcionan el enlace ascendente a la red a través del borde 1000Base-SX/LX o módulos SFP 100Base-FX. El sistema de conmutación apilables de la serie SGSW-24240 le da la flexibilidad para expandir una pequeña red de área cuando sea necesario.
